Every article I write gives me the opportunity to spread the word to yet more people.

In addition, each article that I syndicate offers many more opportunities to build backlinks to my site.

Why is that important?  Links are the fuel for traffic to your site. And GOOD LINKS are the lifeline to good rankings in the search engines.

The world of link building is multifaceted and you can get bogged down in do-follow or no-follow etc. You can waste a lot of time dumping links on link farms that will be of no real value. Or you can seek excellent link networks with good PR values to boost your own rankings.  I have seen it happen. I have “made” it happen.

You must be a savvy link builder and connect all of what you do to that link building campaign. Know your keywords. Write good quality content for your blogs and articles and make them keyword oriented.  Know what you are looking for in the SERPs and you can then watch how much progress you are making.   Learn which tools are most effective for your type of site.

I do not spend money on link building.  Instead, I write articles. I write articles for my sites and I write articles for people who HATE to write.  So in essence I get paid to build their links.

For a long time I relied primarily on Unique Article Wizard  for good syndication and unique article production.  Noel Swanson has done a great job of keeping a good program going well.

I enjoyed writing short blurbs for Linkvana to get bursts of links and traffic. Dave Kelley has built a good system but it is costly.  And all link networks change with time.  I kept my affiliate status with Linkvana because I not only write articles, I am an affiliate marketer.  Hm. Do you see how they go together?

My favorite program for article syndication and distribution at this time is Article Marketing Robot. It picks up well and adds to what UAW was doing. And does more.  They have a great helpful forum and Vincent offers speedy and superb support.  With a minimum of effort on my part I can distribute pertinent original articles to thousands of sites and pick up hundreds of effective backlinks to my site almost overnight.  I have watched my SERPs improve quite rapidly.

HOWEVER. None of these is a magic bullet.  You MUST have good quality content. AND you must have diverse sources of backlinks to get the most out of your backlinking campaign.

And What does this post have to do with mlmnetworkmarketingtraining?  Well, friends, if you are going to be networking for your online business, you need to know the multiple avenues that are available to you. I am doing less mlm these days and more articles and more link building for affiliate and training programs.

Plus I find myself writing for more than one person for links, for articles and for blogs.  I prefer that over the autoships and complicated mlm binary compensation plans.  Do I still have mlm programs like in the side bars?  Well, yes. But to be honest, I am not pushing.  I use products and I like them. I tell people about them both online and offline.  I am choosing not to be a team leader, but rather an active and eclectic participant in programs which I select.
